The figure in Victory triumphantly rushes forward in a windswept motion. The fragmented human form is composed of hand-carved plywood and mounted on an antique wheel. It is draped with salvaged scraps from old metal containers transformed into flowing fabric. All the materials in Victory are discarded detritus that has been upcycled and given new life. It is inspired by classical Greek and Roman sculpture.
